Traditional European Green Oak Hanging Signpost

Manufactured from solid European Green Oak, this traditional oak hanging signpost combines substantial timber construction with time-honoured joinery methods.

Constructed using 95 × 95mm solid oak sections throughout the main upright and horizontal arm, with a smaller diagonal brace, the signpost features traditional mortice and tenon joints, half-lap detailing and 20mm solid oak pegs.With a 1800mm vertical drop and a 600mm horizontal projection measured from the wall to the arm tip, it provides a distinctive mounting point for a hanging business sign, property sign or traditional decorative signage.

This listing is for the oak signpost structure only. The hanging sign, wall fixings, hanging hardware and any other metal fittings are not included.

The natural character of European Green Oak makes each piece unique, with variations in grain, colour and the possibility of surface checking as the timber seasons.

Natural Green Oak

Green Oak is supplied with its natural moisture content and will gradually season after installation. Surface cracks, checking and natural movement are normal characteristics of the material and contribute to its traditional appearance.

Finishing & Installation

Suitable for exterior applications. Appropriate wall fixings and hanging hardware should be selected according to the supporting structure and intended sign weight. Sign panel, fixings and hanging hardware are not included.
