Large Solid Beech Wood Wedges ,Wooden Shims

Manufactured from solid hardwood in our Derbyshire workshop, these timber wedges provide a strong and practical solution for packing, levelling, positioning and supporting timber components during joinery and construction work.

Each wedge features a precision-cut tapered profile, allowing controlled adjustment when fitting, positioning and aligning timber components.

Choose from two wedge sizes, both 250mm long and 45mm wide:

• Standard Wedge: 250mm long × 45mm wide, tapering from 40mm at the butt to 10mm at the tip.

• Large Wedge: 250mm long × 45mm wide, tapering from 60mm at the butt to 20mm at the tip.

  
  

Choose from three hardwood species to suit your application:

• Steamed Beech: A dense, strong hardwood suited to general joinery, workshop and interior applications.

• American White Oak: A strong, hard-wearing hardwood suited to traditional joinery, fitting and packing applications.

• Iroko: A naturally durable hardwood, particularly suitable for exterior applications where greater resistance to moisture and weathering is required.

Natural Hardwood

As these wedges are manufactured from natural solid timber, variations in grain, colour and appearance should be expected. Supplied unfinished and ready for use.
