Solid European Green Oak Equal Gallow Brackets | Dovetail Joinery
Our solid green oak gallows brackets offer a traditional and attractive way to support porch canopies and other suitable timber structures.
Manufactured to order in our Derbyshire workshop using solid European green oak, each bracket features a straight diagonal support and traditional dovetail detailing, creating a strong, characterful timber bracket with a classic appearance.
The natural grain and warm tones of oak make these brackets particularly well suited to traditional entrances, oak porch canopies and period-style properties.
Available in four standard sizes, all brackets come pre finished in a UV protection oil

Natural Green Oak
These brackets are manufactured from solid European green oak, which will gradually season after installation.
Natural splits, checks, shakes and some movement may develop as the timber dries. These are normal characteristics of green oak and form part of the natural appearance of the material.
Each bracket will have its own individual grain pattern and character.
Installation
Gallows brackets are supplied without pre-drilled wall mounting holes, allowing fixing positions to be determined according to the individual installation.
The brackets must be securely fixed into suitable solid masonry using appropriately specified structural fixings.
The installer is responsible for checking the supporting structure, fixings and suitability of the bracket for its intended load.
